This is the original cayenne pepper. Bulky in appearance. Length: 6-10 cm without stem, Breadth: 1.1-1.9 cm. Thick Skin. High Seed Content. There isn't much wrinkle even when it's fully dried.
Alternate Varieties: Ideally LCA 273 Chilli is the best alternative for S4 / S334 Chillies. But we would also like to point this out => You can see above the variable range provided for color, pungency & appearance is high; this is due to the fact that there are two variations in Sannam S4/S334. The Andhra region's variety does look fabulous when it comes to look and feel but is highly suseptible to fungus (aflatoxins), is in the lower range of pungency and higher range of color limits mentioned above. The second variety that is mostly grown in Telangana's region has thin skin, is in the higher range of pungency and lower range of color value limits. Both varieties are exceptional when it comes to durability of the product.
